Lights, Camera, Action! Youth filmmakers are invited to create their own stop-motion animated movie. Students will create stories and then take digital pictures and group them together in a time-sequence to produce a motion video. The process will include set building, lighting techniques, foley sounds, editing and much more.

Be forewarned, these animation programs sell out fast! It pays to be a card-carrying Aurora member for those advance registration opportunities before these special programs open up to the general public. So bring your awesome movie ideas to the workshop and we’ll show you how to make stop-motion animated films sure to start off your year right!

At the end of the class students will receive a link to their own video to share and download. Finished films are screened for family and friends at a culminating showcase on the last day of the program. Parents and friends should arrive on Wednesday at 1PM for the screening. All students will need to fill out a registration form to secure their spot in the camp. Registration forms sent once payment is received to hold their spot.
