Instead of fighting the crowds at the mall, kick off the holiday season with Aurora Picture Show at our annual holiday party. On Wednesday, December 17 from 6-9PM at Aurora Picture Show, join the staff and board for the annual holiday party where you will not only be a generous fundraising elf, but you can also enter to win great gifts for yourself or someone special in our annual holiday raffle. And making the event extra special, Aurora is also hosting a silent auction with art from local artists (who will receive 50% of proceeds) and SXSW film badges!

Admission to the party is free, but surely you will want to gift yourself and Aurora with a $10 raffle ticket, or a pack of five tickets for $40, to ensure that our upcoming season is fabulous. The annual holiday raffle and art auction supports the full scope of Aurora's mission and programs including artists honorariums, public programs, youth education programs, and affordable admissions.

This annual fundraiser includes a social gathering of Houston cinema and art aficionados, and also includes holiday entertainment.  This year we will welcome local Houston artist Stephanie Saint Sanchez to DJ a selection of holiday-themed tunes throughout the party, as well as project vintage holiday classics throughout the space. Festive attire is encouraged. Saint Arnold Brewery, LIQS, and Phoenicia Specialty Foods will be sharing the good tidings with seasonal libations and snacks. 

Tickets are available for purchase in advance online or at the event. The drawing will take place at 8:30PM during the party.  Need not be present to win.
