Night Light

  • Buffalo Bayou East 333 South Jensen Drive Houston, TX, 77003 United States (map)

Co-presented by Aurora Picture Show and Buffalo Bayou Partnership

Free Admission

Aurora Picture Show and Buffalo Bayou Partnership co-present this special, public event featuring artists’ video projections activating waterfront structures along a 3/4-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou East trails. Houston artists Julia Barbosa-Landois, Marcelese Cooper, and Input/Output have been commissioned to create new, site-specific, media art works for a landing, an understructure of a bridge, and decommissioned gravel silos within green spaces along the bayou. These works, along with music and community food trucks and vendors, will be connected by paved pathways for walking and biking. Join us any time between 7:30 and 10pm for this festive, uniquely Houston experience! Enter the trails either behind Talento Bilingue de Houston at 333 S. Jensen Drive or 700 N. Live Oak off of Navigation Blvd. In the case of inclement weather, Night Light will take place on Saturday, April 23, 7:30-10pm.
