Aurora Picture Show will host a community gathering and Member Rush on Thursday, January 15th from 6-8PM at Aurora (2442 Bartlett Street, Houston, 77098) where the staff and Board of Directors welcome past, present and future members to join the House of Aurora and toast to a taste of the 2015 season.  The annual membership drive event is free and open to all who are interested in learning more about the organization. RSVPs are kindly requested.

Aurora relies heavily on community support and individual memberships to further the exhibition and education of moving image art, and while being a membership ambassador for Aurora is serious fundraising business, that does not mean that current and future members cannot have a little fun during recruitment.   

Cold weather might make this an indoor kegger, but with a community potluck and sneak preview presentation of the upcoming season, Aurora will keep you warm with the glow of our projector.  Start 2015 off right by committing to become a card-carrying member of Aurora Picture Show where not-to-be-missed cinematic experiences will not tighten your belt but we will expand your mind.  

Rushees need not worry about fashion faux pas or fake conversations when you can just join Aurora where diversity and challenging voices are embraced. Guests are encouraged to bring a sweet or savory treat to share in our community potluck or bring a friend to introduce them to the wonderful world of Aurora.
