Artists Jennifer and Kevin McCoy will be here at Aurora to present their latest video work, Broker. Shot in a 77th floor apartment in one of New York City’s Trump Towers, the piece portrays a woman caught in the world of high-end real estate with its constantly accelerating pitch of luxury merchandising. This experimental musical features songs by Lori Scacco and performance of actress Gillian Chadsey. Their 2011 piece Mussafah, on view before and after the screening, captures a very different landscape in the manufacturing zone of Abu Dhabi.
