for the Arts for CounterCurrent 2017
The final gathering of CounterCurrent17 is a potluck of creative visions from the festival’s featured artists. For this eclectic screening presentation, each of the participating artists was asked to select a short film or excerpt that relates to their inspirations, influences, creative practices, and/or specific projects. Kevin Beasley, Suzanne Bocanegra, Ghana ThinkTank, Heather Bause, and Raphael Rubinstein will be here for an informed exchange about their work. Bites and beverages will be available for a garden reception before the program.
