Brent Hoff is a writer and the executive producer / editor of Wholphin, a new quarterly DVD magazine of unseen films and cinema oddities published by McSweeneys. Prior to launching Wholphin, he wrote and produced comedy for The Daily Show, VH1, and Nickelodeon. He is the author of Mapping Epidemics, A Historical Atlas On Infectious Disease, and has written various science and/or humor pieces for Details, L.A. Weekly, McSweeneys, The Believer, and others. He is an argumentative jerk.
