Got funding? Austin Film Society's Director of Artist Services Bryan Poyser will conduct a free informational workshop on how to apply to the Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund. (TFPF). Since 1997, TFPF has supported 234 film and video projects, providing over $800,000 in cash grants, plus goods and services. Past Houston film/videomakers who have received funding include Laura Harrison, Eileen Maxson, Douglas Newman, Eagle Pennel, Jenny Stark, and Gary Watson.

This year, TFPF will award at least $100,000 to Texas media artists, selected by a national panel of film/video artists and professionals. If you can’t make ours, SWAMP will present a second TFPF workshop at Rice Media Center on Saturday, April 5th, 3pm.
