2016 has been a complex and turbulent year, and much of it has been experienced and contextualized through video. With this challenging year behind us and a new one beginning, we at Aurora felt an urgency in hosting this community conversation about the nature of our moving image landscape and how Houston artists and organizations might process and creatively involve ourselves in it in 2017. Please join us for short presentations by guests including Nick Vaughan and Jake Margolin, Vinod Hopson, Tish Stringer, Jamie Robertson, and Carrie Schneider, as well as open discussion on the topic.
