NEON NEON: LIGHTING UP THE SCREEN

Join us for a special, outdoor film screening in HCCC’s garden. In conjunction with the exhibition Light Charmer: Neon and Plasma in Action, Aurora Curator Mary Magsamen has organized an eclectic program of films that feature neon and/or explore vibrant light and color. This will include a range of short experimental and documentary films by artists including Marie Menken, Ben Russell, Joel Schlemowitz, Stan Brakhage, Paul Clipson, and Lior Ben Horin. The gallery will be open at 7:30 for viewing the exhibition prior to the screening, and the outdoor films will begin at 8pm.
