Austin-based artist and composer Matthew Steinke will be here to present noplace, a unique live performance of sound and visuals. The aural score, based on Plato’s “The Allegory of the Cave” and incorporating several of Steinke’s invented robotic musical instruments, accompanies live projections from closed circuit cameras, synced animations, motorized zoetropes, and the shifting shadows produced by an ensemble of mechanical devices.
