The "Kid Flix" program was selected by Marian Luntz, Curator of Film and Video at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and 5th graders from the Vanguard classes of Ms. Carol Edwards and Ms. Carolyn White at Travis Elementary School. The video screening was followed by a free arts and crafts session in which students made simple animations and thaumatropes. Student participants include: Sarah Farzam, Sophie Farzam, Molly Freemantle, David Hernandez, Muriel Holguin, Zoe Kanan, Elyssa Kellogg, Kerry Knerr, Michael Nelson, Audrey Nobles, Ashley Reed, Jenaye Robinson, Lindsey Smith, and Chase Stevenson.
