COSMIC RAYS FILM FESTIVAL: LOOK AND LEARN

Aurora and Cosmic Rays Film Festival co-present a selection of films that investigates the nature of vision and foreground the materiality of the image. This program features work that makes innovative use of found footage, archival documents, scientific imaging, new media, drones, and celluloid. Including short films by Janie Geiser, Stephanie Barber, Caitlin Craggs, Mary Helena Clark, Marianna Milhorat, Ross Meckfessel, Karissa Hahn, Caroline Key, and Alexander Stewart, Look and Learn asks us to consider how the visual world is historically, technologically, and sensorially structured.
