Aurora Picture Show, Microcinema International and The Art Car Museum host a free party on Friday September 10th from 7-9pm to celebrate the release of  Aurora's Andy Mann DVD. Come by for a sneak peek of "Andy Mann: Street Tapes and Cable Access". 
The late video pioneer Andy Mann left an extensive collection of his video art to Aurora with the desire to have the work distributed and screened for educational and artistic purposes. The Andy Mann Video Library is comprised of over 800 videotapes, which date from the late 1960s through 2001. "Andy Mann: Street Tapes & Cable Access" includes selections from this collection, including Mann's early Sony Portapak street tapes of Manhattan (1970s), and his cable access tapes made in Houston, Texas (1980s-90s).
