Artist Allison Hunter’s site-specific, performance piece Flow provides a catharsis for our city’s shared trauma during Hurricane Harvey while it celebrates both community resilience and the natural power and beauty of water. Presented downtown on the banks of the bayou that overflowed during that devastating natural disaster, this will feature large-scale video projections and two short, live performances at 7 and 8pm featuring Soprano Katie Loff of the Houston Grand Opera Chorus and music composed by Jake Sandridge. The event is open 6:30-9PM, with food and beverages available. Thanks to Houston First Corporation and Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Part of Aurora’s ongoing Powerful Vulnerable programming.
