Executive Director

Sarah has been Aurora’s Executive Director since 2012. She has dedicated her career to providing communities with access to the arts, previously leading organizations in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Originally from Milwaukee, Sarah has a B.A. in Art History from DePauw University and an M.A. in Arts and Cultural Management from St. Mary’s of Minnesota.

Curator
Email Salome

Salome oversees Aurora’s year-round artistic programs, encompassing its film screenings, festivals, media installations, and multidisciplinary performances. Originally from Batumi, Georgia, Salome's own creative practice involves experimental performance and moving image. She is also an independent arts writer.

Education and Technical Director
Email Camilo

Camilo directs the technical aspects of Aurora’s artistic programing, as well as being the founding director of our youth education programs. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Camilo is also a multimedia artist and works as an independent A/V specialist.

Director of Communications and Artistic Collaborations
Email Peter

Peter oversees Aurora’s public communications and member cultivation, facilitates artistic collaborations, and contributes curated programming. A native of Houston, Peter is also an independent curator, arts writer, multidisciplinary artist, and occasional DJ.

Education and Technical Assistant 
Email Felipe

Felipe is an organizer and instructor for Aurora’s youth education programs, and also assists with technical aspects of artistic programs. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Felipe is also a visual artist, has worked in live theatre performance, and is currently studying video effects and motion graphics.
