Since 2013, Aurora Picture Show and The Menil Collection have co-presented this lively, annual evening of community-sourced projections covering the museum’s façade. Originally inspired by artist Rafaël Rozendaal’s Berlin events and the spread of global projection gatherings, this free-admission BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) held on the museum's sprawling front lawn each spring has become a Houston tradition for participants and picnicking audiences alike. This year's event will be held on the evening of April 5th. All are invited to contribute their own video, film, overhead projector, or slide imagery to the experience, though we ask that you register for a space and time slot in advance (before March 29) at the link below.
