 Student Presentations for Collaboration Among the Arts
Students from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts at the University of Houston will present interdisciplinary performances in collaborative teams as part of the IART program. Under the guidance of Aurora Curator and UH Professor Mary Magsamen, this performance is the culminating project of the semester.

 Reel Reads
This family friendly program celebrates the written word with a collection of animated short films that are based on books or celebrate reading.This screening is 55 minutes long. Appropriate for all ages and filled with happy endings, though one film does have an adventure sequence that may be too intense for the most sensitive young viewers.

Less psychedelic and more psychological, this haphazard duo deconstructs expanded cinema performance with high tension and hilarity.

 Aurora Holiday Party & Raffle
As a special holiday treat, Aurora will once again host a silent auction with artwork from local artists. The annual holiday raffle and art auction supports the upcoming season, including artists honorariums, public programs, youth education programs, and affordable admissions.

 Youth Animation Winter Break Camp
Youth filmmakers are invited to create their own stop-motion animated movie. Students will create stories and then take digital pictures and group them together in a time-sequence to produce a motion video.
