Rice Dance Film Festival
Call for Submissions Deadline: August 20, 2010 In September 2010, the Rice Dance Program is partnering with the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston to present the first annual Rice Dance Film Festival. The festival celebrates the intersection of contemporary dance and the moving image with a screening series of short and feature length films. The Rice Dance Film Festival is pleased to announce that it will be accepting video dance submissions to be screened on September 17 at the Rice University Cinema.
Submissions may be dance documentary, video dance, or experimental dance technology. Films must be 15 minutes or shorter in length. Video submissions should be sent as a DVD along with at least one still image of the work on a CD. Please include your full name, affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, title of film, running time, year of production, a brief description of the film, and list of credits as part of your submission. By submitting to the festival you acknowledge that you hold all necessary rights for the film submitted. Materials will not be returned. Contact rtrump@rice.edu or visit http://recreation.rice.
All video submissions must be postmarked by August 20, 2010.
