Join us for the transformation of The Menil Collection’s entire exterior façade under the spring sky. Co-presented by Aurora and The Menil Collection, BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) is a dynamic, free-form collaborative media experience involving film, video, and every kind of projectable medium imaginable. It is free and open to the public. Bring firends! Bring blankets and picnics!

BYOB was first organized by New York-based artist Rafaël Rozendaal. An acronym for "Bring Your Own Beamer" (projectors are often referred to as "beamers" in Europe), the first BYOB event was initiated by Rozendaal and Anne de Vries in Berlin in 2010. This open source DIY curatorial format is open to anyone and encourages a dynamic collaborative experience with moving images and light.
