Saturday, May 7 (8:30-10:30pm)
Co-presented by Aurora Picture Show and The Menil Collection Free Admission
Location: The Menil Collection Front Lawn 1533 Sul Ross

Aurora and The Menil Collection present this lively, annual evening of community-sourced projections covering the museum’s façade. Originally inspired by artist Rafaël Rozendaal’s Berlin events and the spread of global BYOB gatherings, this has become a Houston tradition for participants and picnicking audiences alike since 2013. This outdoor event is free to attend, and you're encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, food, etc. Food truck Moon Rooster and popsicle stand Popston will also be on hand. NOTE: In the case of inclement weather, this will take place the following Saturday, May 14.

All are invited to contribute their own video, film, overhead projector, or slide imagery to BYOB 2022, though we require participants to register here
 by April 26

This year's BYOB event was a great success, and featured the creative contributions of Mai Minoura, Pablo Gimenez-Zapiola, Alec Tobin, Lauren Calderaro, Input Output, Haoxiang Zhang, Hilary Scullane, Dita Zanelli, Dat Lien, Carolina Borja, Patrick Brooks, Michael Bergeron, Carolina Borja, Falon Mihalic, Vidya Giri, Michael Kohlhof, Mark Nelson, Carlos Pozo, Krislyn Koehn, Andrew Pullin, Maria Eleanora & Rodriguez Espinoza, Duane Bradley, Dranat Vazquez, Cara Murray, Cory Frederick, Brookdale Senior Living, and others. Cecilia Norman ran Aurora's animation station.
